He is risen

He is risen indeed!

Happy Easter everyone!

I was a little sad that I wouldn't get to paint any Easter eggs this year. I always enjoyed that family tradition, especially with my nephews and niece. But, last night, Jordan surprised me with paints and four eggs ready to be painted! So, I got to paint my Easter eggs after all!

And this morning, I discovered an Easter basket full of chocolate eggs from home! Not only that, but my eggs from last night had been hidden... so I had an Easter egg hunt too! I actually never had Easter egg hunts when I was little, so this is a new tradition for me. Oh, I'm such a little kid!

Happy Easter!

You had a few Easter egg hunts when you were really little during the times Grammy G. came up in the spring. Also, remember when she helped us make the little yellow chicks with googly eyes and Easter baskets.

Jordan is good at surprising you with special treats!

What a nice Easter Bunny you have there!

Yeah, I do remember having an egg hunt one time when Grammy was visiting. I also remember having very elaboratly decorated eggs that year too! I don't remember the googly-eyed chicks, although I can picture them.

Jordan really is good at surprises, which works out well because I love surprises and I'm also a little clueless, so I'm easily surprised :)

Yes, it does amaze me about you and surprises. I don't recall ever being surprised (by Derek or anyone else).

Well, maybe when you hinted you were going to South Korea.

Hey Ru, I'm glad it was you that mentioned the clueless thing. Happy Birthday at the end of the month as well. I hope I didn't surprise you with that!
