I think it's pretty funny! If you could see some of the stores here, you would understand.
Popular colours for men here include pink and purple. When we do go to the occasional clothing store, we're often not sure if we're in the men's or women's section. Many of the men's ties that are prominently on display are what I would consider "Easter" colours and are lavishly decorated with sparkly rhinestones.

I think it's only in NA where "metrosexuals" are a novelty. The rest of the world is pretty colourful...

Along the same lines as Evelyn...
What are some of the children's learning methods that you would consider superior to NA? Do they use an abacus for math? What do they consider the most important subjects? Do they generally learn lots of additional languages or just English? Do they emphasize computers or not?
Do the children watch much TV? Do they play video games a lot?
What is the normal age for beginning to read? (Did you ever explain the New Year's birthday thing?)
